The Margaret River Chocolate Company (MRCC) endeavours to ensure the quality of its products sold on-line reach you as they left our factory, but acknowledges that chocolate is a fragile commodity, particularly when exposed to heat.
Therefore please read these delivery terms before placing your order.
- Standard: $15 flat fee per order
- Insulated: $30 flat fee per order (includes cooler packs)
The Margaret River Chocolate Company strives to deliver its on-line orders in good condition and while we take no responsibility for damaged or melted goods, we do all we can to avoid this happening.
Deliveries are logged and then despatched Monday and Wednesday to avoid weekend delays in transit. Deliveries may also be held over due to excessively hot periods.
The Margaret River Chocolate Company highly recommends that you supply a business address or post office box where possible. The delivery driver will need to obtain a signature, or leave a card if you are not in attendance, advising that the parcel is awaiting collection at the local Post Office.
We deliver our chocolate products to selected postcodes in Australia through the Australia Post Standard eParcel Service. As a general guide we deliver to cities and larger towns that are well serviced by Australia Post and aren't too far north or too hot. Our online shipping calculator will tell you if your postcode is included.
Non Delivery Areas
Unfortunately we don't deliver to:
- Northern WA (north of Broome)
- Northern Territory (except Alice Springs)
- Northern QLD (north of Rockhampton)
The Margaret River Chocolate Company cannot exchange goods or refund purchases due to their perishable nature unless
an incorrect order has been despatched.
Loss and Damage
Chocolate is a fragile commodity and all risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to the customer once goods are despatched. If an order is lost in transit, orders will not be replaced until such time as the original order has been located and returned to The Margaret River Chocolate Company.
Australia Post will do their best to handle your order with care. However, given the perishable and fragile nature of your order and the fact that they don’t have a fragile parcel service, Australia Post cannot take responsibility for products that may have been affected by temperatures and deliveries that haven’t met their delivery service standards.
We use Australia Post eParcel Service and Satchel Service to deliver your order. A unique barcode is assigned to each order and then scanned and tracked.
To track your order, simply enter the consignment or barcode number found on your order confirmation, in the online tracking tool or call 13 POST (13 76 78). Please note that tracking may be limited in some remote and regional areas.
